History Mountain Crests

If you know Mountain Crests, you might think of us as a Whistler icon, but we took the leap and moved our shop to the budding metropolis of Squamish.

Mountain Crests was established in 1984. It was started to serve the growing needs of a relatively new community with custom embroidery and corporate wear. Since then it has continued to offer quality embroidery, apparel, heat transfer and has expanded to service the whole Sea to Sky corridor from Vancouver to Lillooet.

Our original founders were the infamous Jan Henriik Holmgerg and Ted Nebbeling. Mountain Crests Embroidery was created to service their Whistler retail outlets Berg and Berg Outfitters. Mucho Macho cowboy store and Whistler Tops. Although through the years our business model has changed, we are happy to continue their tradition of quality branding and personal service.
